Our humble beginning..
In true kiwi tradition Bakeworks started with that 'can do' attitude, loads of awesome ideas and not much of anything else (typical jumping the gun). Way back then (2001) our customers were crying out for more allergy friendly food they could actually eat. While our early gluten free loaves were less successful, we stuck at it until we nailed the best around.
In 2017 we created our Home St. range which is our tribute to our roots. It's everything we felt bread should be, wholesome, healthy, delicious and serve a purpose for our bodies. Home St. has been created to reflect our journey by going back to where we first started.
Over two decades on and you can find our gluten free range in all corners of NZ.
But like all die-hards, it doesn't end there.. Today Bakeworks still has that same 'never say never' attitude backed by an energetic team of people with a passion for baking. We are still handcrafting the very best we can and are continually developing new products to excite our customers.
